The Vision Behind the Breakthrough

At Healing Home Group, we believe in more than just recovery. We believe in restoration  of the body, mind, and spirit. From day one, our mission has been to provide a safe, supportive, and compassionate environment where burn survivors can rest, rebuild, and rise after one of the most traumatic experiences a person can endure.

But for many of us, rising after a burn injury doesn't stop at emotional healing  there's also a physical reality we live with every single day.

We face tight skin, visible scarring, limited mobility, and often lifelong reminders of the fire we walked through.

As a survivor myself, I know this firsthand. The pain doesn’t end when the wounds close. There’s grief over the body you lost, frustration with limitations, and a deep yearning for something more — a return to wholeness that most people take for granted.

That’s why I founded Renewal Biotech.

What Is Renewal Biotech?

Renewal Biotech is a science-driven extension of Healing Home Group’s mission — one that aims to push the boundaries of what’s medically possible for survivors of burn injuries and trauma.

Our goal is bold:

To one day regenerate full-thickness human skin and supporting structures — eliminating scars, restoring function, and giving survivors back their full range of motion, dignity, and self-image.

We’re not talking about cosmetic fixes or short-term solutions.

We’re talking about biological restoration.
We're talking about science with soul.

Where Science Meets Humanity

The medical world has made incredible advances in burn care — skin grafts, synthetic dermal substitutes like BTM and MatriDerm, and life-saving treatments that help people survive what would have been fatal injuries just decades ago.

But we’re not stopping at survival anymore.

Renewal Biotech is focused on:

• Regenerating real, living skin — not just patches

• Restoring elasticity and mobility

• Replacing scarring with true integration of new, healthy tissue

• Building a path for long-term outcomes that reflect who we were and who we can still become

This means forming partnerships with scientists, hospitals, biotech companies, and survivors around the world. It means developing research studies, like our upcoming Regenerative Living Study, which will explore how physical environments — including nature, light, community, and stress-reduction — impact cellular healing.

We believe healing is both internal and external — and the scientific and emotional sides of recovery can no longer be separated.

From Healing to Regeneration

If Healing Home Group provides a place for survivors to catch their breath, Renewal Biotech gives them something just as sacred:

A future.

A future where survivors:

• Don’t have to wear compression garments forever

• Aren’t afraid of mirrors

• Can walk, stretch, smile, and move without limitation

• Are seen for who they are, not just what they went through

We know that some may say it’s impossible.

But so was surviving a full-body burn decades ago.
So was growing skin in a lab.
So was building a home for survivors who had nowhere else to go.

Impossible just means it hasn’t been done yet.
