Healing doesn’t stop at hospital discharge — it's only the beginning.
Healing Home Group provides essential services designed to address the unmet needs of adult burn survivors and their families. Our trauma-informed programs offer transitional housing, emotional support, life skills training, and long-term empowerment—because everyone deserves the chance to Rest, Rebuild, and Rise.
Safe, furnished spaces with medical-grade accommodations that support physical recovery in a home-like setting. These trauma-informed homes are designed for dignity, privacy, and healing, with private bedrooms, accessible bathrooms, and community kitchens.
“This isn’t just a roof over your head. It’s a place to feel human again.”
No one heals alone. Our survivor-led groups and 1-on-1 mentorship programs offer connection, empathy, and encouragement from others who truly understand the journey.
From follow-up appointments to housing applications, our team helps survivors manage the details. We assist with transportation, insurance, therapy referrals, and more—removing barriers to full recovery.
We teach the tools for thriving. Workshops cover budgeting, nutrition, cooking, digital literacy, personal wellness, and goal setting—so survivors can regain confidence and independence.
Healing is holistic. Survivors can participate in yoga, meditation, art therapy, journaling, and hyperbaric oxygen therapy where available—supporting both physical and emotional restoration.
We work alongside burn units and hospital teams to ensure safe and supported discharges. Our coordinated approach means no survivor is left behind in the transition.
We speak up for those without a voice. Healing Home Group advocates for survivor rights, family support access, and policy change through education, outreach, and legislative partnerships.
Burn survivors often leave hospitals still facing pain, restricted mobility, and psychological trauma. Without transitional services, they risk isolation and long-term setbacks. Healing Home Group exists to break that cycle and walk with survivors as they reclaim their lives—step by step.
