The blog introduces the Regenerative Living Study, a new initiative by Healing Home Group, Inc. that seeks to gather firsthand experiences from burn survivors who have received split thickness skin grafts. The study focuses on understanding how these grafts affect mobility, self-esteem, and quality of life, while also exploring the emotional and mental health challenges survivors face long after the initial healing. By collecting these insights, the study aims to advocate for advancements in full thickness skin regeneration and more compassionate, survivor-informed care. The ultimate goal is to influence medical research, regenerative medicine companies, and mental health professionals by highlighting what survivors truly need to heal—not just physically, but holistically. Through this effort, Healing Home Group hopes to drive real change and offer a more hopeful future for those living with burn injuries.
